Most broker exports work. The importer auto-detects common column names, and you can download an example CSV to match the expected headers.

How are futures symbols handled on import?

Contract-month symbols like ESH5 are normalized to their root (ES) and the correct multiplier is applied when computing P&L — no manual cleanup.

Will importing create duplicates?

Review the preview before confirming an import. Each import adds the rows you confirm, so avoid re-importing the same file.

How is profit and loss calculated?

P&L is direction × (exit − entry) × contract size, minus fees. Long-style actions (Buy, Call, Long) profit when price rises; short-style actions profit when it falls. Open trades show no P&L until they have an exit price.

Gross profit divided by gross loss. Above 1.0 means you make more than you lose; the reports view shows it as a gauge.
